Phil is a native of northern Illinois. He
received his Bachelor of Science in
1977 and his DVM degree in 1981,
both from Iowa state University. He
joined the Omro Animal Hospital in
1982 and purchased the practice
from Dr. James Tomasek in 1989. He
and his wife Molly have four grown
children and reside in Winneconne.

Bob is a native of central Indiana. He
received his Bachelor of Science
Degree in animal science from
Purdue University in 1976. He then
worked for the University of
Wisconsin Department of Animal
Science in Madison for 6 years. In
1986, he received his DVM degree
from the University of Minnesota. In
1991 he joined the Omro Animal
Hospital. He and his wife Louise live
in the Omro area together with their
two children Courtney and Ethan.
Michele is a native of Oshkosh. She
received her Bachelor of Science
Degree in Biology from UW-Platteville
in 1994. She received her DVM
degree from UW-Madison in 2000. Dr.
Ramseier has worked for the Omro
Animal Hospital as a receptionist,
veterinary assistant and now part-time
veterinarian off and on since 1993. In
May of 2005 she began working a few
Saturdays a month, in addition to her
full-time job at a veterinary software
company. She lives on a dairy farm
near Waukau with her husband Rob
and son Benjamin.
Practice Manager
Perri is a native of Berlin, WI. She
graduated from UW River-Falls with a
Bachelor of Science degree in
Animal Science. She joined the Omro
Animal Hospital in 1992. She resides
at her home in Berlin with her dog
Sandi and cat Lilly. In her spare time
she gives piano lessons and is
working on many home renovation
projects.
Assistant Practice Manager
Tanya is a native of Winneconne, WI. She
joined the Omro Animal Hospital in May
1999. She graduated from the Fox Valley
Technical College with an Associate
Degree in Supervisory Management. She
and her husband Jeff reside in Poy Sippi
with their daughter Keira, Felix the cat,
and their 2 dogs Aspen Rain and Shelby.
She enjoys horse back riding,
snowmobiling, motorcycling, and four
wheeling. She also enjoys spending time
with family and friends.
Veterinary Assistant
Karla is a native of Pine River, WI. She
joined the Omro Animal Hospital in March
2005. She resides in Oshkosh and is
attending Moraine Park Technical
College in Fond du Lac to become a
Veterinary Technician. She enjoys
spending time with family, friends, and
Lucy the golden retriever.
Veterinary Assistant
Franara is a native of Marshfield, WI. She
joined the Omro Animal Hospital in March
2005. She and her husband Randy
reside in Ripon with their daughter Tirion,
and their two dogs Grace and Jessie. In
her free time, she enjoys scrap booking
and is a big fan of the Chicago Cubs.
Veterinary Assistant
Mel has lived in WI for 10 years and
resides in Oshkosh with her yorkshire
terrier, Jeeter. Mel joined the Omro
Animal Hospital in May 2006. She
enjoys spending time with friends,
baseball games and loves the N.Y.
Yankees, and also happens to be a
native of Northern New York.
Head Receptionist
Judy is a native of Omro, WI. She is a graduate of
UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor degree in Psychology, and
a graduate of UW-Milwaukee with a Masters degree in
Social Work. She worked for Winnebago County Social
Services for 30 years and retired in 1998. She joined
the Omro Animal Hospital in November 1998 and resides
in Omro. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with
her three granddaughters and taking care of her pets
consisting of 1 miniature horse, 1 miniature donkey, 4
cats, Mocha the lab, Opie the giant schnauzer, Liebchen
the miniature dachshund and her newest addition, Macy,
the yellow labrador retriever.
Receptionist
Chelsea grew up in Milwaukee and
moved to Oshkosh 4 years ago to
attend UWO. Chelsea joined the Omro
Animal Hospital in September 2006.
She worked at a childcare for 2 years
and still baby sits for many of the
children. She enjoys spending time
with her boyfriend Jim and their dog
Heidi, who they love to hunt with.
Chelsea resides in Winneconne with
their cat Smuckers.
