Philip Johnson, DVM
Dr. Johnson grew up in the Rockford, Illinois
area on a beef farm. His father was a physician and
his mother a registered nurse and social worker.
He received a Bachelor in Animal Science in
1977 and his DVM in 1981, both at Iowa State
University. After one year of practice in Sun Prairie,
WI, Dr. Johnson joined the Omro Animal Hospital in
1982. In 1989 he purchased the practice from Dr.
Dr. Johnson has always been active in
organized veterinary medicine and is a member of
the American Veterinary Medical Association
(AVMA), the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical
Association (WVMA) and the Northeast Wisconsin
Veterinary Medical Association(NEWVMA). He has
served on numerous committees of the WVMA and is
a past president of the WVMA.
Currently Dr. Johnson is a member of the
Wisconsin Veterinary Examining Board.
Dr. Johnson and his wife Molly have four grown
children and three grandchildren. He and his wife
reside in Winneconne. In his limited free time he likes
to golf, do yard and garden work and travel to spend
time with far flung family.
Robert Wright, DVM
Dr. Wright was raised on a beef
farm in central Indiana, where he first
became interested in a Veterinary
Career. He received his DVM from
the University of Minnesota ad joined
the Omro Animal Hospital Team in
He and his wife Louise live in
the Omro area, where they raised
their two adult children.
Dr. Wright is certified in
Veterinary Spinal Manipulation
Therapy ( similar to chiropractic care).
He enjoys fishing , gardening
and escapes to the Minocqua area in
his free time.

January 23, 1972 - January 22, 2010
Michele inspired and was loved by many
people especially her husband Rob and son
Ben. She was the perfect fit to our clinic.
May the memories of her last a lifetime, she
will be deeply missed by many. Our
sympathy goes out to all her family and
Perri is a native of Berlin, WI. She
graduated from UW River-Falls with a
Bachelor of Science degree in
Animal Science. She joined the Omro
Animal Hospital in 1992. She resides
at her home in Berlin with her dog
Sandi. In her spare time she gives
piano lessons and is working on
many home renovation projects.
Franara is a native of Marshfield, WI. She
joined the Omro Animal Hospital in March
2005. She and her husband Randy
reside in Ripon with their daughter Tirion,
cat Popcorn, and new puppy Simon. In
her free time, she enjoys photo shooting,
scrap booking and is a big fan of the
Lindy is a native of Winneconne, WI.
She joined the Omro Animal Hospital in
August 2008. She and her husband
Scott reside in Omro with their dog
Pancha, and cat Dusty. She enjoys
reading, horseback riding, being
outdoors, and spending time with her
Carol joined the Omro Animal Hospital
in December 2009. She is a native of
Slinger, WI, and now resides in
Waukau, WI with her husband Alan.
They have three dogs Bear, Petey and
Shadow, two cats Lulu and Annie, and
two horses Scotch and Jasmine. Carol
also has three grown sons and one
granddaughter. In her spare time she
enjoys showing her horses and also
loves spending time with her family.
Jess joined the team in
October of 2009. She
resides in the Poygan area
with her Bull Mastiff named
Samson and her two cats,
Brad and Piston. She enjoys
trail rides, bonfires and
spending time with family.
Teri became a part of the Omro Animal
Hospital in May 2011. A lifelong
resident of Winneconne, WI. Teri
shares a home with her husband Mark,
two cats Windsor and Tigger. They live
close by to their two married children,
four grandchildren, and their pets. She
enjoys being outdoors, four wheeling,
fishing, golfing and cooking.
Lori was hired by the Omro Animal
Hospital in June 2011. She graduated
from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor
Degree in Human Services. She lives
in Winneconne with husband Ralph, 3
dogs, Maggie, Cooper, Dexter and
Zeke the cat. Lori enjoys hanging out
with her animals, photography, boating
and visiting her 3 children, Bryan, Kyle
